To enjoy a true taste of island life, we recommend taking a trip to one of the most enchanting villages on the island. Sitting just 10 minutes’ drive from Ibiza Town, Santa Gertrudis has a relaxed bohemian feel, plus a whole host bars and restaurants to explore. You could spend an afternoon wandering around the pedestrianised plaza sipping coffee and buying gifts in the boutique shops. This village should come with a warning though, you might be tempted to move there.

Our Santa Gertrudis guide:
- Can Mimosa
One of our favourite new restaurants in Ibiza that we discovered on a recent gourmet trip in 2021. Enjoy some delicious, seasonal food in the garden of their 200 year old farmhouse. You can also drop by for some tapas and cocktails. - Yalla Ibiza
A brand new restaurant for the 2023 season from the owners of Passion Cafe. Take a seat in their courtyard and enjoy vibrant middle eastern cuisine. Don’t leave without trying the baklava. - Bar Costa
A real locals favourite. No visit to Santa Gertrudis would be complete without a few cold beers and some Jamón ibérico at this lively bar in the heart of the village. - Finca La Plaza
Take a seat at one of the most romantic restaurants in Ibiza. They serve Mediterranean dishes in a secret garden, plus innovative cocktails, and live music during peak season. Start your evening with a Spritz La Plaza – a classic spritz with a hint of elderflower and basil. - Overall
Without doubt one of the most exciting new restaurants to open in Ibiza in recent years, they also offer some of the most creative cocktails on the island. Don’t miss out on their delicious seven course tasting menu designed for two people to share. They also have some cocktails available for takeaway. - Wild beets
The best vegan restaurant in Ibiza. Wild Beets uses seasonal, fresh organic produce. They are open for breakfast through dinner and do outside catering. - SOMM
Located behind Wild Beets SOMM wine shop has knowledgeable sommeliers with a fantastic selection of wine, perfect if you are looking for a special bottle for a celebration or if you are looking to stock up on wines for your Villa. They also host tastings and private events. - Vivo Bistrot
Drop in for one of their passion fruit mojitos and stay for some delicious Mediterranean fusion food in their garden. Vivo Bistrot only opened in 2021 and has already become one of the best choices for dinner in Santa Gertrudis. We loved their Singapore style gnocchi with wild clams and Galician mussels.
