La Case

Niche Travel Guides

If you’re searching for an authentic French West Indies experience, it’s hard to think of a more idyllic setting than Jean Imbert’s La Case. The fine dining restaurant is part of the Cheval Blanc Isle De France hotel (one of the finest on St Barth) overlooking Flamands Bay, and the cuisine sticks closely to its island roots, showcasing the the very best ingredients from St Barths and the Caribbean.

Chef Jean Imbert was inspired by the French West Indies to create an authentic culinary experience. The savoury section of the menu is divided into three sections. Vegetables, Crudo and Les Caraïbes (Caribbean). On the menu you’ll find fresh scallops, mahi-mahi and seabass paired with citrus fruits as starters, with main courses inspired by different islands in the Caribbean. We recommend the sand crusted local branzino (seabass) for two and the wagyu beef with pomme anna. Caribbean fruits and chocolate creations form the base of the dessert menu.

La Case also welcomes guests for a Caribbean brunch every Saturday and Sunday in season from 12.00-18.00. The chef creates a luxurious selection of sweet and savoury dishes, perfect after a stroll along Flamands beach.

Visit La Case on a Tuesday night for a runway show in the White Bar. Hosted by the hotel’s boutique shop, it’s a night of fashion, fun and creative rum inspired cocktails.
