Two words: Duty Free

Shopping is serious business in St Barts – and this has a lot to do with its Duty-Free status. With huge designer labels – Hermes, Bulgari, Louis Vuitton – it’s like heading to New Bond Street, but without the tax, crowds, or traffic. There’s even a Dolce and Gabbana store with a Martini bar inside. We tend to find ourselves in the smaller boutiques in Gustavia and St Jean, where we’re guaranteed to find something totally unique.
