Ca Na Xica

Niche Travel Guides

Some hotels are known for their food, others for their location and some simply have an aesthetic that stops you in your tracks. Ca Na Xica in Ibiza manages to deliver on all three. Not only is it home to Salvia, one of the best restaurants on the island, it’s close to the iconic Benirrás beach, sitting between San Miguel and Santa Gertrudis in the north east of the island. We’ll meet you by the sensational T-shaped swimming pool. This adult only hotel also specialises in events. You can take over the entire hotel to celebrate a wedding or birthday in style.

With striking architecture, artistic touches and expansive views out into nature, the Premier Suites have to be seen to be believed. As the sun begins to set, you can relax on your private terrace, chill on the man-made beach, or head to Salvia for a pre-dinner cocktail.

When your suite backs out onto acres of Spanish countryside, complete with cacti and thousand-year-old olive trees, you’d be forgiven for not stepping far from the terracotta tiles of your terrace – but that would be shame, because the parasols of Benirrás beach are waiting less than 10km away. Ca Na Xica is also a good choice if you are looking for a wellness break – they have a spa and gym, and offer fitness classes, pilates, yoga and a personal trainer.

We’re all about lounging poolside with a cocktail in-hand, and the gourmet dinners at the hotel restaurant Salvia. If you decide to leave the hotel there are some excellent restaurants nearby. We recommend a romantic dinner in the charming garden of Finca La Plaza in Santa Gertrudis, or at La Paloma in San Lorenzo, one of Ibiza’s best Italian restaurants.
