Chiringuito Cala Escondida

Niche Travel Guides

Whenever we take friends to Cala Escondida they tell us it was one of their highlights of their trip to Ibiza and its easy to see why. This stunning ecological beachside chiringuito runs purely on renewable energy and solar panels, and they also support a humanitarian aid project in Nepal.

Chiringuito Cala Escondida is located in Racó den Xic on the west side of the island and is one of the best places to enjoy a magical sunset on the island. The friendly staff will shake you up a cocktail or a cava sangria (an Ibizan speciality of fresh fruit and local cava), and they also do some excellent food to enjoy alongside the drinks.

Its easy to spend the day at the stunning beach (they open for breakfast too), we always recommend arriving a couple of hours before sunset for a swim in the crystal clear water. They operate a no reservations policy, but the welcoming bar staff will serve you drinks while you wait for a table.

Bar Costa

Located in Santa Gertrudis which is our favourite village in Ibiza, and we always start or finish our evening at the atmospheric Bar Costa.
