Mykonos Mediterraneo

Niche Travel Guides

Nestled in the heart of Mykonos’ old town on Lakka square, lies Mykonos Mediterraneo – a popular open-air restaurant that has captivated the hearts of both locals and tourists alike since it opened in 1998.

The restaurant boasts a friendly team that exudes warmth and hospitality, making it one of the most highly regarded eateries on the island. Its stunning decor, which strikes the perfect balance between elegance and relaxation, perfectly complements the delicious cuisine that is served.

The restaurant also has an extensive wine and cocktail list, we particularly enjoyed the apertivos.

Mykonos Mediterraneo has a very distinctive menu that combines the best Italian cuisine with sushi. Diners can begin their evening with a glass of champagne to go alongside a selection of sushi rolls, such as prawn tempura, king crab and spicy salmon.

The restaurant is also dedicated to only using the finest ingredients in its Italian dishes, the best organic olive oils and parmesan is used in their exquisite pasta dishes. During our visit, we enjoyed the simple yet delightful Pici Senesi, made with homemade pici and Tuscan cheese, and we also recommend the Paccheri Di Mare, consisting of paccheri pasta with clams, prawns, and cuttlefish. With such an extensive variety of dishes, you could return to the restaurant to sample something completely different.

They can also host extra special events such as birthdays and anniversaries, you can book out the entire restaurant. Keep an eye on their social media for details of their special live music nights.
