Rivyera St Barth

Niche Travel Guides

Located the luxurious five star Hotel Christopher St Barth, Rivyera is an exciting new restaurant which opened in 2021, with a menu inspired by the French Riviera. The restaurant encapsulates the island’s laid-back lifestyle that makes St Barths so unique, join them for a feet in the sand lunch at Rivyera Plage or for dinner in the signature Rivyera by Chef Arnaud Faye.

With a impressive history of working at some of the best restaurants in France (The Ritz, Auberge du Jeu de Paume, La Chèvre d’Or), Arnaud Faye served as a chef the St Barth Gourmet festival in 2019. It was during this trip he discovered the Hotel Christopher and embarked on a joint project with has led to the opening of Rivyera.

Leading up the kitchen is the talented Mathis Larrode, who developed a close relationship working alongside Arnaud Faye at the Michelin two-star La Chèvre d’Or.

The stylish Mediterranean menu is inspired by the South of France. At the beach restaurant we particularly enjoyed tuna niçoise salad which was visually stunning and perfectly cooked, and the lobster roll was ideal to enjoy with a crisp glass of French white wine.

For dinner the food really showcases the talents of the kitchen. You can start with a selection of gourmet snacks, followed by creative Mediterranean dishes. We recommend the roasted squids with spianata and gremolata and the refreshing tomato tart to begin. The lobster linguine with a spicy bisque was as delicious as it sounds, and if available you can share an indulgent whole thyme roasted bresse chicken. For dessert it was impossible to resist finishing the meal with the signature Rivyera lemon tart and the pistachio crème brûlée with a warm madeleine.

Arrive early (or stay late) and enjoy some of some of St Barth best cocktails and a breath-taking ocean view at Le Bar. The menu was designed by Haydée Otero, a French artist from Nice. Head mixologist Victor Delpierre has created eight cocktails inspired by different places in the hotel, made with infused spirits and natural essenses.

For true indulgence combine your meal with spa treatments at the oceanfront Sisley Spa, one of St Barths best spas.

Picnic at the beach

Believe it or not, you can still find little coves where there aren’t any bars or restaurants. Our recommendation? Pick one, pack a picnic and prepare to fall in love.
