Yialo Yialo

Niche Travel Guides

There are two ways to find yourself in the relaxed café atmosphere of Yialo Yialo – either directly from the popular Platis Gialos beach or through the wooden gates by the painted white bicycle. You can pop in post-swim for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a coffee and the staff are always wonderful. Its just one of those restaurants in Mykonos that you will keep coming back too. For a relaxing Greek lunch with excellent food that won’t break the bank look no further.

There’s a reason why their tables are always filled with locals. Yialo Yialo serves modern Greek food and a few Mediterranean specialities. We can’t resist the fried squid – it’s simply the freshest available. We also love their classic island dishes, such as souvlaki and Greek salad. Let the friendly staff recommend some local Greek wine to go with your food.

The best seats are by the beach, so ask for these when booking. Sunbeds are also available to book by the day.
