We’re often asked about where to eat in Mykonos Town and one name is consistently top of our list – Kalita. Perhaps it’s because we’re old romantics at heart. Located in the garden of the Fresh Hotel, you’ll dine at courtyard tables surrounded by palm trees, lavender, and rosemary. It’s the perfect setting for indulging in the absolute best of Greek cuisine. On our last trip to Mykonos we visited Kalita with a group of 10 friends, and it was our favourite meal of the holiday. The service, food and ambience were all perfect.

Head Chef, Vaios Ntoytsias enriches classic Greek flavours with modern techniques. The Angel hair rolls stuffed with goat cheese; smoked pancetta & sweet quince was our favourite starter. For main course we highly recommend the Greek lamb cooked in a hull of clay, stuffed with smoked cheese and Cretan risotto (soooooo good!). For a sugary treat, the baklava mille-feuille with masticha ice cream and thyme honey hit the spot. They also have an innovative cocktail menu and some excellent Greek wines.

Arrive with time to enjoy a pre-dinner drink in Little Venice. There are so many bars to choose from, take a look at where we recommend for sunset drinks.

The laid-back bohemian vibes at Alemagou beach club have made it a firm favourite amongst our friends.
